JESUS CATHOLIC BIBLE

Delete your account and associated data

You can request deletion of your Jesus - Catholic Bible app account without reinstalling the app.

Request account deletion by email

This opens an email draft. Send the email to submit your request. If an email app does not open, write directly to support@jesuscatholicapp.com.

How to request deletion

  1. Email us from the Google email address you used to sign in to the app, with the subject Delete my Jesus - Catholic Bible account.
  2. We verify that the request belongs to you before deleting the account. If you cannot access that email address, contact support for help. Never send your password or Google verification codes.
  3. We confirm completion by email, including any information that must be retained and the applicable reason and period.

What will be deleted?

The app authentication account and associated profile information, including its account identifier, name, email address and profile image reference where held, will be deleted. We also review associated personal information held by us or our service providers for deletion, including related support correspondence, subject to the retention details below.

This deletes your app account, not your Google Account or Gmail. Signing in again may create a new app account.

Information stored on your device

Saved songs, listening position, preferences and cached audio are currently stored locally. Server-side account deletion cannot remotely erase these files from every device. On Android, use Settings → Apps → Jesus - Catholic Bible → Storage → Clear data (or Clear storage) to remove local app information. This also resets Guest preferences and saved lists. Clearing cache alone does not remove all local information.

Processing time and retention

We normally complete account-deletion requests within 7 days and no later than 30 days after receiving your request, subject to verifying account ownership. We will contact you promptly if additional information is needed.

We retain deletion-request emails for 90 days after completing your request to handle follow-up questions and document completion, then delete them unless a specific legal obligation requires longer retention.

Security and service information

We do not maintain custom account-linked activity logs. Our authentication and hosting providers may process technical information for operation and security.

Firebase Authentication uses technical information, including IP addresses and user-agent information, to protect sign-in and prevent abuse. Firebase states that logged IP addresses are retained for a few weeks. See Firebase privacy information.

The 90-day retention period above applies only to deletion-request emails. It does not describe Firebase or Cloudflare technical-record retention.

Our playback service has Cloudflare Workers Logs, Traces and Issues disabled, with no telemetry export destinations configured (verified 10 October 2026). Cloudflare may still process operational and security information as a service provider; these settings do not disable all provider-level processing. See Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Firebase's documented deletion process may take up to 180 days to remove authentication information from its live and backup systems after deletion is initiated. See Firebase privacy information.

Signing out or uninstalling the app does not by itself request deletion of the server-side account.
